Government recommends ambassadors to India, US, China and 10 other countries

• The Cabinet recommended ambassadors to 13 countries, including India, China, the United States and the United Kingdom.
• Nischal Nath Pandey, Kalyan Raj Sharma, Chiran Jung Thapa and Gaurav Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana were proposed for India, China, the US and the UK respectively.
• Other proposed ambassadors include specialists for Japan, Israel, Spain, Germany, Oman, Malaysia, South Korea, Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia.
• The nominees must be approved by the Parliamentary Hearing Committee and receive agrément from the respective countries before appointment.
